FIX AN ACHING BACK! (Reading Time: 00:01:30)

Here's a simple way to bring your sacroiliac joints into their proper position. Once the sacroiliac in normal position, the entire spine will eventually realign itself and pressure on sensitive tissues will be relieved. The key is to do it correctly, and to do it often.

If your spine has been sore for a long time, these corrections will take months. The younger you are, the quicker you'll recover.

Regardless of your age or how long you've had back trouble, this simple movement will help most everyone.

A. BEFORE YOU BEGIN, HERE'S HOW TO IDENTIFY THE AREA THIS MOVEMENT TARGETS ON YOUR BODY:

 B. HERE'S HOW TO FIX AN ACHY BACK:

LEAD Technologies Inc. V1.01

1. Sit up straight on the edge of a chair or bed (with shoulders back) or laying on a flat (firm) surface, bend one leg at the knee and grab the ankle with the other hand (fingers on the front of the ankle, thumb circling & resting under the ankle). Hold the arm straight down to get the proper angle.

2. Place the other hand on the bent knee with the thumb on the inside, the little finger on the outside & the three middle fingers on top of the knee.  Let the bent knee drop naturally to the outside.

3. Now raise the elbow of the arm holding the knee to shoulder level, so both the shoulder and elbow are level. Moving the elbow straight back, pull  the knee gently but firmly as far back as it will comfortably go. The lower leg and forearm should be in a more or less straight line.
The sacroiliac joint is now in its proper place.

4. HOLD this position for ten seconds, then release.

5. REPEAT the procedure with the other leg.

Don't worry about pulling too far back: you won't hurt a hip by pulling back.

This is still a helpful exercise for increasing circulation & toning the area, even if your sacroiliac is already in position.

The key to fixing your achy back is to do it correctly, and to do it often.

For acute injury: Repeat this movement as frequently as possible for 3 minutes for the first five days after injury, or at least every hour. Continue to do it at least three times daily as a preventive measure to keep your sacroiliac joints in proper alignment.
